I started training with both Mike and Eddie at boot camp over a year ago. It was great. I was weighing 270 lbs at the time. Then Mike starts throwing around this word Crossfit. He said he was going to experiment with a group of boot campers. I was game. Man these workouts were tough. I was scared. Not by the workout but what some of my friends were becoming. They would not shut up about Crossfit. Then the weirdest thing started happening. My friends were getting ripped. I asked them is it the Crossfit? I decided to give it a shot. January 31, 2009 was my first day. This was before the 101 classes were offered. I just went balls out into a WOD that had SDHP. About 7 minutes into the workout my back was on fire. The first week there I didn’t finish a single work out. I stuck it out, because I saw what it did for my friends. Here I am a year later and I have lost about 40 lbs. Not as great as other members but I’m happy with my results. I want to thank all the coaches and members that have made IACF such a wonderful place. I have always been a skeptical person, but I believe in Crossfit and IACF.- Eric G.

Dre's Pink Birthday

He's Big! He's Fit! He's Tough! He's everyones favorite trainer and he loves PINK.

IACF staff and members would like to thank Dre for all the long hours and dedication to our box and athletes. We are lucky to have him and blessed to know him.

Dre thinks "Pink is the new Black" So in dedication to his day we ask our athletes to wear pink to the box in his honor. If you buy him a gift, make it pink. If you bring him food, make it cotton candy. If you toilet paper his car, make sure its ... pink!

thanks for all the shout outs guys i really truly appreciate it ... crossfit is definitely one of the greatest things i have ever been a part of and it is because of all of you... im glad ive been not only able to train with all of you but meet you and hang as friends ...
