2:35 Rx…it seems that me and Tony were holding hands through this WOD cause we were facing each other and finished exaclty at the same time. Great way to kill it kid.

3:50 Rx, looking forward to doing it again. Was a little under the weather. I’m pretty sure I can shave 20 to 30 sec.

    Hey all,!

Today I finished the WOD!!! had a challenging weight for my personal level of fitness- 65lbs!!! Ohhhh yea.7min (13- 18 or 28seconds) I am not really sure. It was shouted at me, but I was not hearing anything but my pounding heart at that moment.

Got all 30, the last 5 were the most intense, Special thanks to Jim for motivation and suggesting to let the weight tap the ground then shoot right into the next one without a rest. did two of the last 5 like that then a couple huge Gasps for air, and then some other instructors joined in. It’s difficult to say who as I was in a state of near mental chaos. anyway they all joined in and there was 4 voices yelling at me to exert maximum effort three externally and myself internally – the external voices were words, the internal voice was more like ( aaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH). The first one went well, then tap, then the second one,… My heart began to pound my form to get slightly shaky, then tap… the third one. when I locked that one out, my entire body was tingling. I set the bar down and then squinting through the sweat as the salt began to sting my eyes I staggered towards the rear door, I think someone said my time was in the mid 7 minute range,,, Honestly I didnt really hear the last part because my ears began to ring, my head began to get light headed. I sat down briefly trying to catch my breath. As I sat there, I fought against the urge to puke, taking a few huge breaths and trying to hold for a mental three count before exhaling. This helped after about a minute, I started to feel better. sipped some water and joined the cool down stretches.

I have to say, this was the furthest into the red zone I have thus far pushed myself. I have hit the yellow a few times thinking it was the red but now I know for certain that this is what maximum effort feels like.

I will be there tomorrow, Im not really sore. exhausted yes, sore, not so much. I think my body is starting to acclimate to the workouts.

Cant wait to try the WOD tomorrow, I hear its heavy on pullups arms and shoulders. thats good cause my legs are done for a couple days.

Everyone have a great night, Thanks again for being awesome everyone!!!
    See yall tomorrow!!!

    Sincerely,
    Ron Lambert.

Inspiring! this is the only word I could think of while seeing everybody get such awesome times while lifting heavier weights as they did last time. I was so inspired that I decided to convince Juan to do Grace with me last night (Let me specify that I meant the WOD, not a girl named Grace). Anyway, I knew it’d be a struggle because it’s been a rough week and my body has been feeling it, but I pushed through it and kept up with Juan as much as possible. I got 3:02Rx and Juan got 2:49Rx. Inspiration comes in all forms. Thank you all for inspiring me. What inspires you???

    • LL Tony

Comments like these inspire me, Comradery inspires me, Brotherhood inspires me, the Community and Energy we have at the box inspires me, and the Coaches getting in our face to push when we think we can’t push anymore inspires me….just to name a few.

  27. Javi P

5:42 Rx. PR is 4:58 though. My legs simply did not respond as much as I needed them to due to the tough wods this week.
