3½ reps (K2C in place of T2B). Not the best but better than what I thought I was going to do.
I’m finally getting the hang of the squat snatch
175 squat snatch. 4 rounds RX. Feeling better…
3 rds. 45 lb lunges
3 rounds, 75 lbs lunges. Hardest part of the wod was gripping the bar for t2b

OMG today was tough,and really an eye opener.
I was feeling all good the other day when I had 75lbs for the clean and jerk exercise, so today I was taken aback when I had only 15lbs bar and was struggling with the reverse lunge.
I dont know why this is sooo much tougher than the clean and jerk but wow.
I realized today that I will need to start a log of the various exercises and start tracking the weights that go with the particular exercises – one to avoid injury, and two so I can track my progress.
I did finish two complete rounds of the reverse lunges, pushups, pullups- tho I had to modify and scale down the pullups and just tried to get my knees to my chest. but I didnt quit and was able to get the full number of reps for each round.
Scaled back the pushups on my second round – they call em girl pushups, but dam these girls are friggin tough. kick my ass thats for sure. anyway with the scaled back pushups I finished the full 20 of em, but was shaking like a leaf on a tree.
Not discouraged, Everyone has to start somewhere, and Im starting at level zero. lol… I am going to stick with crossfit, track my progress, get stronger and help myself and those around me.
Much thanks to Steve!! I learned not to give up so easily today, on the reverse lunge I was stuck near the bottom of my left leg and set the bar down to get up, after the reality check of what I just did, the next set of reverse lunges was more intense and I refused to stop as steve watched counting them out, it was sheer anger at my own weakness that got me to finish- not wanting to fail again.
