This WoD is dedicated to Gabby Douglas and the rest of Team USA (Jordyn Wieber, McKayla Maroney, Kyla Ross and Alexandra Raisman) who secured a Gold medal in the team competition, beating Russia by 5 points.  This was the first time since the 1996 Atlanta Olympics that the Women’s Team Gymnastics won a gold medal.  Gabby “The Flying Squirrel” Douglas is the first African American to win gymnastics gold and has become the smile of the Olympic Games.  Her swagger and smile will be remembered for a long time.
